Airdrop to Macbook turning off Wifi.

Airdrop to Macbook turning off Wifi. This just started happening in the last couple of days that every time I try to airdrop an image from my iphone to my Macbook the Wifi goes crazy and stops working. It appears like it's searching for a signal and the airdrop never goes through. I've reset and updated my computer multiple ways with no solution and havn't been able to find any discussion about this online. Any suggestions?

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 26.4

Never heard this before.

Shutting down both devices, as well the wireless router and restart them all and compare your results(?)

I have the exact same issue, started noticing it around the same time. It happens on a 2019 MacBook Pro MacOS 15.7.5 as well as a 2017 iMac Pro MacOS 15.7.7. They are both at 2 different locations with different networks. Multiple iOS devices and AppleTVs on those same networks do not experience any wifi issues.

Around the same time this started happening I also had the WiFi icon randomly changing to the icon that says it's connected to a temporary network. Try turning the wifi off and on, rebooting, trying to connect to different wifi networks, and nothing seems to definitively resolve it. I just have to hope for it to randomly decide to reconnect when it feels like it.

Same exact issue. I've troubleshot to no end. I've also tried this on both my home wifi network and on a personal hotspot from my cell phone and it still happens everytime. Just having Bluetooth turned on on MBP and then browsing web will also eventually cause this.

With Bluetooth turned off, the internet browsing is much more stable, but if I re-enable and then attempt Airdrop, it disconnects right away.
