How can I track iPhone activity during specific periods, such as when asleep or left behind?

is there a way I can tell what activity my iPhone has been commanded to do during a certain period of time. Like when I’ve been asleep. Ir if ive left my phone somewhere.

Your iPhone doesn't save a history of your activity throughout the day for privacy reasons. But you can piece together a pretty accurate picture of what happened during a time window in a few different places.

  • Screen Time: Go to Settings > Screen Time > See All App and Website Activity. You can view how long and when your iPhone has been spent on each app and webpage, notifications received, and pickups.
  • Apple Maps: In Maps > Tap your profile picture > Tap Places > Visited Places. This will tell you where, but not when, you have been recently and your most visited categories and cities. This requires iOS 26.
  • Sleep: If you use Sleep or a Sleep Focus, you can see when your iPhone entered/exited, and if you use Apple Watch it will show even more specific data.
  • Battery: In Settings > Battery, you can see an activity graph of your apps and ones have been used in the background.
