How do I fix HomePods' inconsistent volume levels during dynamic music?

when I listen to music on my HomePods where feelings go up and down like any core band (soft, heavy,soft, heavy) my HomePods are an absolute disgrace trying to decide if I want loud or no volume at all. Tell you what. I believe the producers have this figured out so how do I stop me $800 speakers from going updownupupupdownnothingupupupDOWNUPPP?
