How to delete old Office 365 work profile / Update personal Office 365 ?
I have transferred data using Time Machine from an old MacBookPro 2013 to a Refurbished MacBookPro 2023.
I get an automatic popup to sign into Office 365 with an old work email (from >6 years ago). If I delete that and add in my personal email, it says "Can't sign in here with a personal account. Use your work or school account instead"
I cannot clear the pop up unless I go to the top left and ONEDRIVE/Quit
I have paid for Office 365 for personal use under my personal email account. The icons are still attached to the bottom ribbon on the new machine and (eg) Word opens up if I click on it. I had to sign in and authenticate it via Microsoft Authenticator. It says Updates are Available, but if I try to update though, then I get an Update Error box. If I click on the ? I get an empty box pop up, so I have no idea what the error is.
Any ideas how
a) I can get rid of my old work address being prepopulated, and stop the pop up coming up
b) update the Office 365 I have bought and paid for.
Many thanks
