How long do photos stay in the Recently Deleted folder?

As Zurarczurx says, they hang around for about a month. What's cool is that, when you look in the Recently Deleted album, you can see how many days are left for each picture:

This is a great safety feature! As Zurarczurx said, you can delete pictures from here, and warnings will tell you that they will be erased from all connected devices immediately! This is generally a bad idea! It's rare that I erase pictures from Recently Deleted early, because I know that I make mistakes, and I change my mind sometimes. We see many sad stories from people who prematurely erased pictures that they later found they had an unexpected need for.

Deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted for about 30 days. If you remove them from Recently Deleted they are gone.
