Force Apple TV app Continue Watching to specific service

Apple TV app links “Continue Watching” programs to the wrong streaming service.

I have A LOT of different streaming apps, some of which share the same programming. I’m wondering if there is a way to force Apple TV to launch a specific streaming service to view the program.

For example, I watch a particular program on HBO Max, but when a new episode is listed in the “Continue Watching” section on the Apple TV app it launches the program on CNN. I want to watch on HBO Max because it’s ad-free while the CNN feed shows ads. I am currently paying a premium for the ad-free versions of my favorite streaming services and don’t want to be forced to make multiple clicks to get to the preferred service.
