I got Iphone 13 yesterday does any one know how much longer for support is on this? thanks How old is the Unit as well I notice alot of Police used the 12 13 and up they loved it. I dont know to keep the unit or return cause of the support left on the unit .

As one of the other posters said......it depends on what you mean by "support".
The warranty on the iPhone 13 expired long ago.....a year after the original user purchased the phone. Currently, Apple shows the iPhone 13 as "supported", meaning that parts are still available for the product and service will be performed by authorized Apple service shops.
A guess would be that the iPhone 13 will support the next iOS version....likely called iOS 27....when it comes in early fall.
That model was released in September of 2021 and discontinued in September of 2024.
Any warranty is long expired.
It is still supported and can run the current version of iOS. How long apple will continue providing major iOS updates for it is something only apple could answer, however based on their history, it most likely has at least a few more years in it.
Check the battery health. The battery needs to be replace when it reaches 80% of original capacity. If that one still has the original battery, it's undoubtedly near the end of its useful life.

Apple introduced the base iPhone 13 in September 2021, and discontinued it in September 2024, in the U.S. Thus the phone could have been manufactured anywhere from about 2 to 5 years ago.
Assuming that you don't run into any of the problems people sometimes run into with used phones, you should be able to use it for several years. (Batteries are consumables and should be replaced once the Battery Health drops below 80%, but battery replacement service is available for that phone.)
We know that it is going to receive iOS 27, and app vendors usually support the last two or three versions of iOS. Let's say that it receives iOS 28, maybe even iOS 29. That means that you probably will not be running into app availability issues until iOS 31 comes out in the fall of 2030, and third-party app vendors start making their apps require something later than iOS 28.
It supports 4G and 5G networks, which is good. Some much older iPhones only supported 2G and 3G networks, and in many parts of the world, carriers have shut those down.
It also depends on what features you want. E.g., the camera system on the base iPhone 13 is not as fancy as the camera systems on recent Pro and Pro Max models; and the iPhone 13 doesn't have enough RAM to support any Apple Intelligence features. It could be that you'll be very happy with the features of the phone you just bought; that's something for you to decide.

Hardware support is generally 5 years after it is discontinued.
Software is generally 7 years after discontinued.

Since apple is letting
the iPhone 11 lineup get iOS 27, I’m guessing the iPhone 13 lineup will also be getting 7 years of support as starting with the 11, there is a much bigger improvement in RAM and storage that can handle more updates. I’m pretty sure iOS 27 will be the last update for the 11 tho.
The iPhone 13 ran iOS 15 when Apple introduced it in September 2021. It has received four major updates (iOS 16, 17, 18, and 26) – and iOS 27 will make five.
In the past, iPhones have typically received between four and six major iOS updates before hitting "the end of the line", with no iPhone receiving more than six updates. iOS 27 is a bit of a surprise in that respect as it represents the seventh major update for iPhone 11-series phones and the iPhone SE (2nd generation).
As far as repair service goes, Apple normally stocks repair parts and offers repair service for five years after they stop selling a model. They discontinued the base model of the iPhone 13 in September 2024, so it won't become Vintage until September 2029. Service might be available, subject to parts availability, for a couple of years after that. In the specific case of battery replacement service, Apple is still offering that for the iPhone 6 - an Obsolete phone discontinued close to ten years ago.
Depends on what you mean by “support”. If you mean warranty, none. Its was discontinued 18 months ago. If you iOS updates, it is still current, but no one can tell you when that will change.

I meant as in Updates thanks for reply . if no longer updateable then I cant use RBC or CIBC bank apps etc. The apps I have gotten from app store may be no longer avalable to use. I use a journal app and google sheets and clear scanner app.
Many iPhones have received four to six major iOS updates – with five being common.
The iPhone 13 originally ran iOS 15, and has received four updates (iOS 16, 17, 18, and 26). That suggests that it will get iOS 27, and possibly iOS 28. I do not know of any iPhone that has received more than six major updates.
OK, let's say that Canadian is going to be maybe 15-20% more due to currency conversion.
That would make the battery $104-108 in Canadian dollars.
So, you might want to double check with the seller on this. Your decision though.
From what you have given us, it sounds like you should have asked these questions before buying the phone.
About that battery: 80% health is the red flag that the battery needs replacement. If the seller told you the battery had 80% life remaining, you were seriously ill-advised.
Too many non-Apple service centers install aftermarket batteries that cannot hold a candle to Apple batteries in quality or performance. Apple's iPhone service site shows US$ 89 for an iPhone 13 battery installed. That's roughly CAD 120.
