MacBook Neo to iPhone Configuration

I have tried everything to configure my iPhone to my MacBook Neo but it won't work. I have checked the FaceTime settings, my iPhone settings, I factory reset my MacBook and nothing has helped. How do I configure my iPhone so it connects to my MacBook Neo? It doesn't allow me to log in with my Apple account it makes me create a Mac account but my Apple account is connected in the settings so I don't know if this is the issue. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Your iPhone doesn’t* generally connect directly to your MacBook Neo.

Both can connect to iCloud, and various services can be enabled in the MacBook Neo and iPhone as required.

if you want this iCloud sharing to be available, both MacBook Neo and iPhone must be using the same Apple Account.

*Yes, you can directly connect for backups and a few specific other tasks, but Neo doesn’t have a whole lot of storage for backups and such.

See Why is bluetooth not supported on both iP… - Apple Community. There are posts there with links to articles on iCloud, Continuity features, and AirDrop.

If you have purchased music, movies, and/or TV shows on your computer, you can copy some or all of this content to your iPhone with the aid of the Music and TV apps and the Finder. This is how, for instance, you could transfer music that you had purchased on CD and imported to your Mac from your own CDs (using an external optical drive).
