Plug-ins in Logic Pro have no input or output

Hello! So certain plug ins in logic are getting no input or output. They will load up and i can interact with them just fine but I cant get any sound. I uninstalled and reinstalled both the plug in and logic and I'm still getting nothing. They work fine in garageband but wont work in logic after working for years. This happened out of nowhere with no impetus or update so I'm trying to figure out why they wont work now.
