iCloud sync issue in Outlook after PST rename; email impact?

classic outlook and icloud lost sync (Calendars and contacts - icloud email still works from outlook).. i renamed my pst.. do i need to reload icloud for windows, and if so will that upset my icloud email on windows? Outlook 365, Windows 11.

Renaming your PST file breaks Outlook's internal path links to the iCloud for Windows sync mapping, causing calendars and contacts to drop sync while iCloud email continues working via IMAP.

No data loss or disruption will happen to your iCloud email functionality on Windows.
iCloud mail operates independently through IMAP protocols, which do not rely on local calendar/contact MAPI mappings or personal data files (.pst).

Do You Need to Reinstall or Reload iCloud for Windows?

No full reinstallation is required. You do not need to uninstall the app or re-download anything.
Instead, you can force the application to drop and recreate its broken profile links by toggling the service integration off and on.
