iPad not receiving iPhone calls despite settings enabled
Cannot get an iPad to answer phone calls.Have 2 iPhones and 2 iPads. The first iPhone 17ProMax/1 iPad connect to the same router, same iOS (26.4.2) and have the same Apple login. The other iPhone 17/iPad are the same, but a different Apple login that the 1st iPhone/iPad. All apps are updated on all 4 devices.
I want to be able to answer phone calls that are going to the iPhone on the matching iPad.
The 1st iPhone/iPad works correctly. A call comes into the iPhone and a small banner pops up at the top of the iPad screen showing the person or number calling and a button to hang up or answer.
The 2nd iPhone/iPad do not work this way. I've compare all the settings and they both match.
On both iPhones, Settings > Apps > Phone >Calls on Other Devices> the 'Allow Calls on Other Devices' is turned on.
On both the iPads, Settings > Apps > FaceTime > the 'Calls from iPhone' is turned on.
That's all the instructions I can find for this . Is there something else I need to look at/do?
iPad Pro, iPadOS 26
