iPad not receiving iPhone calls despite settings enabled

Did you tap the > on Calls on Other Devices? That opens another page, where if the iPad is also on the same Apple Account, should be listed there, with a switch to turn on. The two devices MUST be on the same Apple Account.

The 1st iPhone/iPad works correctly. A call comes into the iPhone and a small banner pops up at the top of the iPad screen showing the person or number calling and a button to hang up or answer.

The 2nd iPhone/iPad do not work this way.  I've compare all the settings and they both match.

On both iPhones, Settings > Apps > Phone >Calls on Other Devices>  the  'Allow Calls on Other Devices' is turned on.

On both the iPads, Settings > Apps > FaceTime >  the 'Calls from iPhone' is turned on.

That's all the instructions I can find for this .  Is there something else I need to look at/do?

For the iPhone/iPad which isn't working on the iPhone - Settings > Apps > Phone , in addition to Allow Calls on Other Devices being turned on, have you turrned the switch on for the iPad which corresponds to the same Apple Account as the iPhone?

Follow instructions for setup as documented in this thread. My issue ended up I also needed Bluetooth active on both devices.

I’ll try again. Have you updated to iOS 26.5 on the devices? Do you have a VPN installed on any of the devices?

I'll need a little more info. Is this setting you talk about on the phone or on the iPad. IN either case, what is the text I would see on the screen.

The setting is on the iPhone.

• Open Settings app on iPhone
• Scan all the way down to the bottom and tap Apps
• Find and tap Phone
• Make sure the switch is turned on for Calls on Other Device
• You should see a switch for your iPad and you need to turn it on there
