Recently my older iPad stopped playing sound through the USB C port to wired EarPods. The port works for charging the iPad but not the wired EarPods. I had an older set of with a 3.5 jack and used an adapter for the USB C and that doesn't work nor does the USB C wired EarPods.When I plug the cable in, the sound continues coming from the iPad speaker.
The iPad has a the latest software installed.
