Problems with accessing studio display camera

Hi, I've bought a Studio display and am trying to use it with a MacBook Air that has an m2 chip. Everything works (screen, speakers) except the camera which I can't get to switch on with any app (FaceTime, Photo Booth, teams, zoom), even after allowing access on privacy settings and selecting the studio camera. Any advice?
