iPhone 12 mini: 'Add to Apple Wallet' button displays gibberish and fails to add EasyJet boarding pass

Using the Easyjet app to add a boarding pass on my iPhone 12 mini by clicking on the "Add to Apple Wallet" button results in a screen of gibberish and the boarding pass is not added to the wallet.

IOS is at the latest version (just updated to 26.4.2).

Anyone encountered this?

I tried using Safari on the iPhone and was able to add the boarding passes to the Apple Wallet successfully.

Don't know why I didn't think of using the browser to login to Easyjet instead of the app.

Thanks very much for your help, it should save some hassle at the airport. Hopefully, if other people have the same problem they might find this answer via a search.

Thanks for replying and confirming my suspicions that the website would be a workaround to resolve the issue. It definitely seems to be an app issue.

It looks like an Easyjet issue at this point. I did find an email address for you,

app.feedback.iPhone@easyjet.com

I frequently fly American Airlines and I can add boarding passes through their website and their mobile app. Can you add you passes using their website?

Have you checked for updates to the Easyjet app? Is your iPhone updated to the latest iOS version, 26.4.2?

Using the Easyjet app from the app store, no browser involved. No VPN in use.

Photos show screenshots, touching the "add to Apple Wallet" button produces the screen of gibberish.

The download as PDF option works OK but I want the Wallet version.

You’re welcome. I’d check regularly for updates. They’ve updated their app 3 times just this month and 9 times in last 6 months. Not the best track record. Good luck and safe travels.

I'm sorry, I'm obviously doing something wrong in trying to add the screenshots as they seem to appear in the wrong places in the timeline.

To repeat:

Using the Easyjet app to try to add a boarding passes to the Apple wallet fails with a screen of gibberish instead of the desired result which would be the passes successfully added.

The download PDF option works OK but I want them in the wallet.

I have upgraded to iPhone to IOS 24.6.2, the latest available.

I updated the Easyjet app to the latest version and it doesn't fix the problem

No browser or VPN is used.

There doesn't appear to be any way that I can contact Easyjet about the problem with their app.

The only thing I haven't tried is to reinstall the Easyjet app

Thanks Jeff, I had come to the same conclusion. The app was able to add Easyjet boarding cards last year so something has changed since then. I'll use the link to report it. It's my wife's phone, I have an Android phone so it's been an adventure trying to sort it out.
