Problems resolving lack of multiple monitor function on an m4 Max computer

my Mac studio will no longer run two monitors Apple has stopped talking to me over tech support they need to step up and take care of this it. I have a Mac studio with an m4 Max chip 36 GB of memory I purchased the computer at the end of March 2025 the problem started at the end of January 2026 I contacted Apple through the support chat in February 17th 2026 and began the process of trying to have it resolved they have not resolved the issue and I can't contact them anymore who do I go to I've already wasted several days of my time and hundreds of dollars of my money traveling around trying to have this fixed this is the most frustrating thing I've ever been through in my entire life as they clearly are trying to dodge the issue. The last contact they told me they would have something I believe called back bench support call me or email me and I have never heard from them since that was at the beginning of April it's now the end of April. This is unconscionably poor service

Chat is intended to solve simple problems 'on the spot'.

Your problems appear to be more complex. I expect that they would refer you to telephone support or have a display specialist contact you.

if you would like to discuss your TECHNICAL problems, please post the make and model of each of your displays and exactly what cables, adapters, and docks you are using to make the connection. Volunteers here are eager to help you with this.

It is not a display problem since both displays work when hooked up separately but not when hooked up at the same time. They were working properly and then they stopped . I have been through several chat sessions and I have done all of the tests.I have tried to do a telephone conversation but the call was dropped. I have driven 2 hours to best buy but was told, after I waited for an hour, that the authorization number the tech finally received was not being accepted by the apple system. I then had to drive 2 hrs home and therefore wasted my entire saturday (I work 60 hrs a week).

I just contacted B&H photo and asked them to help get intouch with a rep from Apple. I have carefully gone over the whole scenario with AI and the conclusion is:

"If it works when plugged directly into the Mac but not the dock, the dock is the culprit. If it still fails direct-to-Mac, you have a solid warranty claim for a Logic Board replacement."

I have never used a dock just a thunderbolt on my dell monitor and an hdmi on the other (I have tried different cables.

Any suggestions as to a next step?
