I tried to download Pages on an old iPad Air with OS 12.5.8
The Pages available on Apple store do not fit with the old iPadOS. Impossible to get an older version of Pages
On my MacBook Pro I use Pages 12.1 It works perfectly and all files created are compatible with new versions of Pages
I wander if there Is a way to transfer Pages 12.1 from MacBook to the iPad?

No. There is a reason why there is Pages in the i/Pad/OS App Store and separately in the macOS Mac App Store. They are different applications built specifically for their intended hardware and operating system intent.

No. Apple does not keep full past versions of Pages available for i/Pad/OS.
