I just received a notification to call Apple on $782 charged to a gaming site & to call ***. I called & the man on the phone verified my address & wanted to guide me thru a process to eliminate the threat. I suspected something and hung up. Then read some posts Gere & recognized it was a scam. Thank you Apple Community! 🩷

In addition to the excellent reply from Iafeef, if you receive a suspicious email or SMS text message that looks like it’s supposed to be from Apple, please email it to reportphishing@apple.com.
