On macOS Tahoe), the keyboard equivalent of Command + + (zoom in) in Terminal is a bit tricky because + requires Shift.

Command (⌘) + Shift + =

That is because the + symbol is on the = key when you hold Shift.

Zoom in: ⌘ + Shift + =

Zoom out: ⌘ + -

Reset zoom: ⌘ + 0

Your shortcut to make text larger is shown to be Command-colon instead of Command-plus.

Maybe you added it yourself in System Settings->Keyboard?

Go to System Settings->Keyboard, click "Keyboard Shortcuts", the "App Shortcuts" and see if there one for

"Bigger".

Also: what is your keyboard layout? Different layouts may sometimes cause shortcuts to differ.

And in many layouts, you'd also need to use the Shift key to produce a colon; hence I am thinking maybe you are using French layout? That one produces a colon without requiring a modifier.

For example, in the US layout you'd be seeing Command-Shift-semicolon, not Command-Colon.

Not familiar with Keyboard layouts except for those I use

This is what I am finding if, this is of any help for you

Other Common Turkish F Layout Shortcuts (Cmd+...)

If you are looking for specific Command-based shortcuts:

➡️. Zoom In: ⌘ + \(+\) (Cmd + Shift + /). ⬅️

  • Zoom Out: ⌘ + \(-\) (Cmd + -)

Cheers

This must be some external keyboard issue.

certainly verify Full Keyboard Access did NOT get turned on (?)

>System Settings>Accessibility >Keyboard>Full Keyboard Access>OFF

All the default setting on the built in keyboard work as expected...

Comparison of first image to second image for OP

If you refer to some slight change in size of the posted images, remember that this

can be easily adjusted in posting here, just by dragging the handles; it may not have to do with the original screen size. The crucial aspect is the one you marked with an arrow - the shortcut was successfully changed,

which was the OP's original point. So all is well!

Your eyesight is better than mine 🤞

In that first image, " Bigger " I can not get an absolute clear view of ⌘ plus ??

Perhaps you are right about all this 👍
