How to access hidden menu bar items on MacBook Pro?

How can I make items in the menu bar hidden by the center cutout visible?

With the new Macbook Pros and their edge to edge screens, there is still a small black rectangle cut out in the top center for the camera and warning "lights". Once the little icons in the menu bar to the RIGHT of that cutout fill the whole available space, the next icon ends up hidden / invisible. Unfortunately, there are quite a few of these items that I really rely on, and they are not connected to a VISIBLY running program (that I could select from the Dock, for instance). How can I access those items? Is there a way to directly change what's displayed in the right-hand side menu bar, instead of going through all the individual settings for each of these software "widgets" and change their setting?

Never mind - I found the "Menu Bar" item in Settings that allows me to remove things I don't need to see. But it would still be nice if there were a shortcut or other trick that displays ALL items in the menu bar.

There is limited room on the menubar.

You can also simply hold the Command Key and drag most items off or rearrange.
