It's fairly difficult to make a purchase by mistake on Apple's platform as they require various confirmations and your passcode or Face ID usually. If you had a charge you did not want and that could not be payed, then there's nothing you can do. You must allow it to complete successfully. Otherwise your account will be left in bad standing and blocked from downloading new apps or updating existing ones. Once it completes, you can request a refund for it.
