How to play a slideshow from MacBook Air on a TV

How do I play a slide show on a TV from my MacBook Air (Tahoe 26.3.1)? It will be a TV in a public venue for a Celebration of Life.

The easiest way is to use AirPlay to stream your slideshow to a TV. The catch is the TV must support AirPlay. Most newer flat screen TVs support AirPlay but you need to check the TV user guide to see if it does,

If the TV does not support AirPlay you can use an adapter cable to connect your MacBook Air Thunderbolt port to the TV’s HDMI input.


Thunderbolt to Thunderbolt to HDMI adapter


Bottom line? How you accomplish this depends on the TV you’re trying to stream to.
