MacBook Pro keyboard is not typing after water damage

A Keyboard replacement is a upper case replacement if no other issue...

you do not say what exact "MacBook Pro"...or if you are under a AppleCare+ warranty.

Plugging in an external keyboard is a work-a-round.

Liquid damage typically gets worse over time not better.

The Mac needs to be examined by an authorized service center.
