Pages crashes when printing documents with user templates

Pages v 15.2 crashes after printing pages which contain my user templates although Pages prints other pages files with just text and with text and photos without crashing. I can't recall anything specific I installed or changed that coincided with this behavior. I did replace all my user templates following the procedure of VikingOSX which restored Pages when it crashed after opening a file but replacing the user templates did not help this crash after printing.

The first thing you should do is keep your macOS Tahoe and Pages versions current: (Tahoe 26.6.1 and Pages v15.3.1). See System Settings > General > Software Update, and the Mac App Store Updates panel. The process of updating may cleanup System caches and resolve the crash on printing issue.

Is it just one document based on a specific template that is causing the crash issue. What is in that specific offending template?

Since you are able to print other Pages documents, I believe we can discount printer driver and configuration issues. If you are using a custom template that also referenced a custom font that is not currently installed on macOS, then I would expect Pages to throw a dialog about that missing font before you enter the print panel.
