Warranty Claim on iPhone Case

I purchased 2 x apple silicone iPhone cases less than a year ago. Both are completely defective. Peeling and deteriorating from standard use.

There is no option anywhere in the Apple Support app/website to make a claim about these.

I was told at an Apple Store that I needed to make a Genius Bar appointment.

Why does it feel like everyone is complaining about this and Apple is trying to make it so hard for everyone to get a replacement for a known and wide spread issue?

Has anyone had success with getting a replacement or money back?

Polls are not allowed in these forums. Sorry. But did you make an appointment at the Genius Bar? That sounds like the most direct way to handle this.

And what happened at the Genius Bar appointment?

I have seen posts on this forum where the case was replaced within the first year when taken to the Apple Store, an appointment is usually easier to secure a time frame. I wouldn't consider that difficult to do.

I am confident you will be able to figure out a time slot that works for you. Walk-ins are possible for some stores, but most are usually pretty busy where scheduling an appointment is the best path. Most locations will have availability on weekdays and weekends and the weekends do usually fill up faster.

I couldn't get an appointment the day I was at the store, and it's proving very hard for me to find a booking for Genius Bar that fits my work schedule. I've still got over 6 months to figure this out... just can't believe how bad these cases are.
