How do I delete a wallpaper in IOS26 (SE3)

Press the side button. If the screen is off, it will open to the Lock Screen and if the screen is on, it will turn the screen off, so in that case press it again.

Once the Lock Screen is visible, then you can long press on the screen before you are required to unlock the phone with the Touch Sensor on the Home Button. It is not required that you press the Home Button, you just want to place your finger on the sensor to read your fingerprint.

When you open the phone to the lock screen, press HARD on the screen.

You do want to see that message for the edit. Place your finger on the Home Button, without pushing it, and then you will be able to proceed with the edit.
