About Smart Mailbox in Apple Mail

Is there any way to use numbers within and email to organize them into groups?

What I am trying to do is use the order numbers on Internet order to put them into groups for double checking that everything has been received. Usually, the merchant sends a confirmation of order email that sets the number than at various stages sends emails to show status up to the final notifying that it has been delivered.

We all know that mistakes are main in the mail, and delivery service organizations such as UPS, and this would give me a check point for a missed delivery.

Saved searches (“smart mailboxes”) are not your path.

Apple AI can be used to detect and sort receipts and such in mail.

Nor really is mail your best path, except as commonly-used albeit unreliable notification mechanism.

Use something else, and link that to mail.

There are package tracking apps and services available.

Apple Wallet has purchase tracking for purchases using it, as well.
