My Apple Pencil stopped working correctly after updating to iOS 26.4.

We are sorry about your problem with your pencil, we will try our best to help you 🙂
First, make sure your pencil is charged and connected to your iPad !
We sometimes forget about this, but make sure that your pencil is charged and correctly paired with your iPad !
Forget your Apple Pencil !
In Settings, open Bluetooth > Your Apple Pencil (press the ℹ️) then "Forget this device" ! Now pair your apple pencil again and see if it works !
Update your iPad or restart it !
If you are on iPadOS 26.4, you can try to update your iPad to iPadOS 26.4.2 ! If it's already done, try to restart your iPad !
More solutions...
- Make sure your Apple Pencil tip is correctly in place, you can try to remove it and put it back again ! If it seams broken, replace it by a new one. If you don't have a new one, you can buy a pack of 4 at the Apple Store !
