When trying to download an app it ask for my card which I have but how much money do you need to have in the account for it to download the app pls?

If you have a card and it is accepted then you don't need any money in account balance. If you only have money in account balance and no card, Apple may request you enter a card even if the card won't actually be used to pay for the item.

If it lists a price, you'll need that amount, plus tax if applicable in your area. Otherwise, you can get it for free; if it shows Download instead of Get, this may not apply to people/accounts which haven't already gotten it.
