Siri not working in Carplay

I have been using Siri for various commands since I bought my car. All of a sudden, Siri won't work. I try to pull Siri up on my phone when I'm in my car, but it won't connect. I recently had my car in for repair, and it seems that they may have disconnected something, but I don't want to take it back there. I have tried various online fixes, but nothing has worked. Can anyone give me any advice as to how to fix this? I have tried several fixes, but nothing has worked. I hate not being able to call Siri up to give me directions and having to pull over to put in my phone to connect to Apple CarPlay.

Thank you!

@User2332 -

Whenever I disconnect my car battery, it triggers an antitheft mechanism for my auxiliary/peripheral dashboard electronics and they remain in standby until I unlock with a code. It is a factory feature for my Civic EX so it’s covered in my auto manual.

It is fairly common for a battery to be disconnected during service. Any chance you have an analogous auto-side antitheft sitch?

Cheers
