Keyboard size option, why doesn’t this exist?

Keyboard size option, why doesn’t this exist?

I recently switched to iPhone 17 for the first time, coming from Android, and honestly the one thing that’s ruining my experience is the keyboard size.

I’ve tried every third-party keyboard and none of them solve it. I also tried Display Zoom but that just scales everything up, the entire screen, not just the keyboard. That’s not a solution.

The iOS 26 keyboard is just too small for me and there’s no option anywhere to resize it, not in Settings, not inside the keyboard itself.

On Android you could resize the keyboard years ago. With everything Apple does around accessibility, I genuinely can’t understand how this is still missing.

This needs to be added in the next update. A simple size option in the keyboard settings is long overdue.

This is a user to user, community forum. You are talking to other Apple users here. Not Apple. We cannot explain why Apple makes the decisions they do. We cannot offer a solution.

You simply have the two options listed here. Change the orientation of your iPhone (as Katana-San suggested) or offer your feedback directly to Apple (as Rudegar suggested).
