How to add a disco ball generator in Final Cut Pro
can someone tell me where I can find a disco ball to use as a generator in Final Cut Pro.
Is there an easy way to find it and import it?
Thank you!

Hi (bonjour),
May be the excellent Simon Ubsdell’s YouTube channel may help:

There are several 3D models of disco balls.
You can do a quick online search for 3D models, and you will get several known sites.
Searching for "disco ball" there will provide a number of options.
You asked specifically for a FCP generator. I don't know if one is readily available.
You could get a USDZ file, import that into a Motion generator, and use that; but unfortunately, although usable, it won't let you interact with it like you might expect.
Nevertheless, I did once make a generator like this, using not a disco ball but a model of Earth, and it worked ok.
In the Clouds generator, set the Gradient to whatever you like. To start, try the Chrome gradient from the drop down menu. Adjust colors to taste.
Brilliant but I think he should have stopped around the 5 minute mark.
He also omitted the most important thing . . . colour.
I don't know exactly what the OP has in mind but he could also obtain a disco ball (even a tiny one) and film it against a green screen to be superimposed over something else later on.
I miss mO2 like crazy, y'all...
