Phone not ringing for certain calls

I have an iPhone 16 and this is my 3rd or 4th iPhone so I’m fairly confident using it, etc. However whilst my phone rings normally for every other call it will not ring if I’m called by one of two 0800 numbers that belong to Virgin, who I have my plan with. I can literally have my phone in my hand and it won’t ring or vibrate. A couple of times I’ve actually noticed the phone symbol in the black ‘box’ at the top of the screen and tried to answer but it cuts off.

Any ideas? It’s beginning to drive me mad!

Try looking at your blocked calls list. Those numbers may have inadvertently made it to that list.

Settings->Apps->Phone->scroll all the way down to Blocked Contacts and see what’s there. Also take a look at Business Call Identification just above the Blocked Contacts. Just a thought.
