No need to be sorry, I just wanted to gather a bit more information before I can try assisting you to a solution.

Based on what you described, the issue appears to be related to a Bluetooth connection conflict between the iPhone 16 Pro, the Shokz OpenComm2 headset, and the truck’s radio/Bluetooth system. Since the headset remains stable until the vehicle radio is also connected, this points toward either a Bluetooth profile conflict, interference issue, or compatibility problem introduced by the recent iOS 26.5 update.

Ok, so what can potentially cause this?

  • The truck radio attempting to take over audio or call profiles from the headset
  • A compatibility issue between iOS 26.5 and either the Shokz headset firmware or the vehicle’s Bluetooth firmware
  • Corrupted Bluetooth pairing records on the iPhone or vehicle radio
  • Bluetooth multipoint instability when two devices are connected simultaneously
  • Wireless interference or power management issues affecting Bluetooth stability

Is there anything you can try to resolve this ... yes:

  • Remove/Forget all Bluetooth pairings for the Shokz headset from the iPhone and the truck radio. Then reboot all devices before re-pairing them from scratch.
  • Verify the Shokz OpenComm2 headset firmware is fully up to date using the Shokz app or Shokz updater software.
  • Check whether the truck radio has a firmware or infotainment system update available from the vehicle manufacturer.
  • Test with the headset connected only to the iPhone and not simultaneously paired to the truck radio. If the issue disappears, it would further confirm a Bluetooth multipoint or vehicle compatibility issue.
  • Reset the iPhone network settings: Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings (Note: This removes saved Wi-Fi passwords and Bluetooth pairings.)
  • If available in the truck radio settings, disable Bluetooth audio streaming while leaving only hands-free calling enabled, then test again.

Sorry, but that is just not enough information in order for us to be able to assist you with a potential solution.

All that we know so far is:

  • You have an iPhone 16 Pro, running some version of iOS 26
  • You have a Bluetooth headset.
  • The headset will not stay connected to a radio.

What we don't know, that would be helpful is:

  • Which exact version of iOS is your iPhone running?
  • Which exact make & model is your Bluetooth headset?
  • What "radio" are you trying to connect the headset to?
  • Was this always an issue, or did it just start happening recently?
  • What have you tried, so far yourself, to resolve this? For example:
    • Have you tried using this headset with another device?
    • Have you tried connecting the headset to another source?

Sorry, I should have given more information

It is the iPhone 16 Pro running on the 26.5 update it is a Shokz opencom2 Bluetooth headset and at times it will connect and disconnect at random times some days I have lost count on how many times it does it, but it only does it whenever the headset is connected to the phone and whenever I have it connected to the radio in my truck
