Control + is a new AI app. It is available in the Apple Store. Is it safe to use?
It is advertised to search the Dark Web for your personal data that may have been hacked and deletes this data directly from the Dark Web. Has anyone used this app? Does it work? Is it safe to use for this purpose?

While I don't see any immediate privacy red flags, it's expensive. Also, I don't see that it scans the dark web and removes data. The description for the app that I think you mean says that it will scan websites before you enter your data to let you know if the site is legitimate or not. Personally, I wouldn't spend $100 a year on that.
When at all possible, use a store's app on your phone rather than a website. Don't buy things directly from TikTok or Instagram.
