Liquid Glass / iOS 26 is giving me migraines. Reduce transparency does not help.

iOS 26 is giving me migraines, reduce transparency doesn't help or fix anything. There is still a liquid glass effect over my icons. I have to switch over to my iPhone 6s Plus that I got when I was 13 just to relieve the pain I get. Can Apple please in any way revert back to iOS 15 or have an option to make it look like iOS 15. iOS 26 is the worst update compared to Microsoft releasing Windows 11 after saying Windows 10 was the last OS.

I had to reduce motion as well just to ease the pain I've been getting.

Would like to mention that I am 24 years old, I should not be getting pain this bad and I am perfectly healthy otherwise.

Welcome and thank you for sharing your concerns, unixlarp. 😉

According to Apple: After a software update is installed for iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS and visionOS, it cannot be downgraded to the previous version.

What you can do about this:

Open Settings ➢ Accessibility ➢ Display & Text Size, then toggle Reduce Transparency = on.

Also in Settings ➢ Accessibility ➢ Motion, then toggle Reduce Motion = on.

Also in Settings ➢ Display & Brightness ➢ Liquid Glass ➢ Tinted.

When you create a custom iPhone Lock Screen, you can → change the look of the clock. ⏰

In addition, you can provide ⇢ Product Feedback.

If enough requests are made, your feedback might help with future development, like a toggle in the settings (to disable the Liquid Glass effect).

Good luck! 👋🏼😉

Thanks again for your feedback.

I also held back from updating my other devices as well.

As for what Apple will do with the valuable feedback will be revealed next month when they are expected to announce their plans at their annual Worldwide Developers Conference on June 8th.

Hello everything you have listed I have already done. As said in my original post. It does not help and I am still experiencing headaches from this update.

And dark tint doesn't do anything if you have reduce transparency enabled.

I also already submitted feedback but I doubt that is being read as I have seen many people on Reddit and subsequently other forums that are Apple related complaining about the update. I have refused to update my MacBook and iPad to 26.
