Logic Pro randomly not recognizing middle C from controller

Logic Pro 11.2 is randomly not recognizing middle C when played on my controller (Studiologic Grand 88 connected via USB to a hub going into a Mac Studio running Sequoia 15.7.4).

Halfway through a song, hitting middle C produces nothing. And then sometimes it'll come back. Weird!

I've restarted the computer to no avail and seeing this on more than one project.

I would suspect the hub but wouldn't a hub issue cause problems with other notes, too? Or does my hub hate middle C? :)
