Hi community - I recently purchased an IPad Air (5th Addition) and I’m unable to get any Bluetooth devices to appear? Any thoughts? I tried to troubleshoot as much as I could find. Do I need to send back to Apple?

most bluetooth devices needs to be put into pairing / discovery mode first time they connect to a device
also depend on what bluetooth device you attempt to connect not all bluetooth devices works with all devices, it's down to which bluetooth profiles it rely on
The iPad Air Fifth Generation was released by Apple in 2022 and discontinued in 2024. So when you say “send back to Apple”, presumably you mean send back for repair.
First, try Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
