Update doesn’t allow me to block anymore

SE 2 and SE 3 users, including me, have been reporting this since 26.1 or 26.2. It does not seem to affect users of the physically larger phone models.

This means you've reached or exceeded the 3000 blocked call limit. It also means you've been blocking spam callers, believing you were actually blocking them. But you're not blocking them, because they spoof their numbers through literally thousands of numbers, so there's no way to actually block them and the number you see isn't actually the number which called.

Stop trying to block spam calls as it's an act in futility, which isn't affective at all. Instead, use the Call Block and Screening tools which were released in iOS 26 --> Screen and block calls on iPhone - Apple Support

If you own a Mac, you can delete multiple blocked numbers on your Mac. If you don't, in order to be able to block calls, you'll have to delete blocked numbers one by one. But again, blocking them doesn't do anything to stop them calling you, so why bother?

I use the spam blocker provided by my carrier and don't get more than 2 or 3 spam calls a week. Something to look into with your carrier.

Blocking the individual numbers is pointless, since the spammers change the number every time.

• iOS 26 and higher versions have two views in the Phone App in the Recents tab
• Use the classic view to block callers. Tap the More Info button  next to the name of the Contact in the Recent list of calls.

That would be the best method to ensure that your concern is addressed in a future update.

I have an iPhone 13 Pro. This worked prior to the latest upgrade (26.5) and no longer works. Mine has always been in classic view and still doesn't work. It will say it's blocked but when you go back to into the number it wasn't actually blocked and therefore, I get non-stop spam calls.

Needs to be fixed ASAP.

I have a 17 Pro and it won't let me block any more numbers or websites as it says I've reached my limit. Apple support says there is no limit however. I tried deleting them but the only way is one at a time, and with nearly 5,500 that's going to take a long time. Support say there is no other way, but they have passed it on to Apple. Anyone have any other suggestions please?

I'm having the same issue and it has always been in Classic mode. The spam calls are incessant! I'm actually considering jumping ship and getting a Samsung just because of this!!
