Mac mini can't connect to Epson XP-4200 on 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi
I use an apple mac mini on OS Tahoe 26.3, have recently switch to 5g internet and am able to connect to internet but not to my Epson XP-4200 printer.
I read online that the printer doesn't support 5G and needs to run off 2.4gHz.
I have renamed router to be:
123xyz (the original wifi name)
123xyz 2.4 GHz (this is channel 1)
123xyz 5 GHz (this is channel 36)
I have disconnected the bandsteering feature (which I had to do when I renamed the SSIDs)
Unfortunately I still can only seem to connect to the 123xyz (which defaults to 5g - I don't get the other 2 as options).
When I look up the printer network settings it also shows the original 123xyz but says it is on channel 1 (which would be 2.4 GHz), so this would be correct.
I just can't get the computer on the same channel for the printer.
Any help would be appreciated.
