What’s up with holidays on the calendar app? I can’t find a way to get rid of them. None of the methods from years ago are applicable to recent phones, iPads and software. I already have too much on my calendar without holidays cluttering it up. help!

You can unsubscribe from the holiday calendar. On your ipad, tap the calendar icon in the upper left to start

In addition to the excellent replies, you can replace the holidays with your own by simply copying it, then removing all of the holidays that you don’t want. ↓
