iOS 26.5 Calendar alerts won't save for new events

iOS 26.5 calendar alerts won’t save for new events. I turned iCloud sync for calendars off for 10 seconds then turned it on again. Force restarted my phone, deleted the Calendar app and reinstalled it. Still won’t save alerts for new events.
