How do I charge a DualSense controller?
I recently bought a PS 5 DualSense controller for my Apple TV.
When the power got down to 15%, I plugged it into my Mac mini: as I’d been told the Mini would charge it
It didn’t: plugging it into the Mac mini just the controller with the machine, it didn’t charge it.
What can I buy — or use — to charge the thing?
you don't need like that any thing works anything any usb c cable just with a brick even iPhone charger works
I just use some random usb ac charger, the controller have an usb-c port, havent had problems using ac chargers though can't recall if i've used the old 5watt ones
the black cable works too, which comes with it, I use it charges and you can use Any usb c cable and plug the cord with adapter and it will charge.

I have a controller but use the playstation provided cable you can see above cable
If you had the Mini sleeping this would have happened:

Have you tried a wall charger like one of these:

though personally I never really used exclusive apple chargers, all the ones sold legally in my country

it does not show but if you open the blue tooth tab you can see it is charging
you have any phone with usb type c

Have you tried all of the ports on the Mini?
Have you tried different cables?
When the controller is connected by cable does it show up in the System Information report (hold down the Option key while accessing the menu).

The one problem there is that I got it from Apple’s site: guess what they DON’T include … ?
you get it from your ps5 box contact support if it is not there
