Custom fonts in Photos Memories missing on newer iPhones (iOS 26.1 and above)

So I recently upgraded from my iPhone 7 Plus (iOS 15.8.5) to an iPhone 11, and now an iPhone 13, and I noticed something that's been bugging me.

On my iPhone 7 Plus, the Photos app automatically generates Memory videos with these nice decorative title fonts. Not the boring default system font, but actual stylized ones that Apple picks. I didn't do anything special to get them, the phone just does it on its own.

Here's the thing. The iPhone 7 Plus was bought by a friend in November 2025 and I reset it completely through iTunes before I started using it, and it was STILL making Memories with those custom fonts. So it's not some leftover thing from the previous owner, it's a fresh device actively generating new ones like that on iOS 15.8.5.

When I switched to my iPhone 11 on iOS 26.1, those same Memories (the ones my 7 Plus made and uploaded to iCloud) showed up with just a plain boring default font instead. The custom fonts were completely gone.

I later switched from the iPhone 11 to an iPhone 13 on iOS 26.5, not because of this issue but because the 11 had cellular problems, a pretty scratched up display (got it secondhand from my uncle who used it for 3 years without a screen protector), and it was already losing support for future iOS versions like iOS 27. Same font issue on the 13 though.

The 7 Plus is still sitting here making beautiful Memories and uploading them to iCloud, but the moment I look at them on a newer phone, the fonts are gone.

How can I fix this?

Original Title: My old iPhone 7 Plus makes Memories with cool custom fonts but my new iPhones don't. Anyone know why?
