Question

can you assign a oxygen pitch wheel or a oxygen knob as a jog/scrub wheel?

i have my asr-10 as my main controler, and my oxygen for others to use and for me to use the knobs to automate. i was wanting to use the oxygen's pitch wheel as a scrub or jog to move the spl back and forth. possible?

PowerMac G5 dual 2.0 ghz, Mac OS X (10.4.2)

You probably won't like the way it handles but yes you can assign the message, using it will prove cumbersome and there are more elegant methods.

i can see where it would probably be aggrevation. besides a logic control what would you suggest, Justin?

I'm oldskool. keycommands for: goto <-actual spelling if you search in key commands), forward, scrub, etc, and a really fast mouse-just pounding out on the keyboard. I can get places fast enough. I hate initiating everything with mice/trackball or having my hands being 5 places at once-at least one is always on the keyboard.

totally the same here. always doing some sort of two to three finger solutes on the keyboard. i was just thinking that i could do something new. thanks for your help.
