Shrink playback controls in iPhone Podcasts app queue

iphone podcast: viewing queue: the part of the screen showing progress, back/forward advance, and pause/play button covers almost half the screen. The top of the screen showing the name of the podcast covered 1/2 of the screen. Now it is expanded with a pull-down section showing the section of the podcast. That leaves room for displaying *almost* one podcast in the queue. It makes it nearly impossible to rearrange the queue. How do I reduce the size of the top and bottom portions of the screen so I can see the queue?

iPhone SE, iOS 26

Swipe down on the expanded Now Playing player or tap the small downward arrow/chevron at the top left of the player card to minimize it into a compact mini-player at the bottom. This hides the large chapter/transcript section and frees up your screen to view and rearrange the queue.
