iPhone 17 Pro Max: Random 'Liquid Detected' warning charging

Hi, my iPhone 17 Pro Max keeps showing a “Liquid Detected” warning while charging, even though it has never been dropped in water or exposed to liquid.

The issue comes and goes randomly. I already tried drying the port and using the Sonic app to eject any possible moisture, but the warning still appears sometimes.

May I ask what I should do next, and whether this could be a hardware issue?

Thank you for sharing your concerns. 😉

Once an internal sensor has detected water penetration, then only a certified Apple technician can determine the cause.

Therefore, I recommend service.
