Apple's Hide My Email feature does not have its own separate inbox or message box; instead, it forwards incoming emails directly to your personal email inbox. If you are not seeing verification codes sent to your private relay address (@privaterelay.appleid.com), the forwarding is likely blocked, turned off, or landing in a different folder.
1. Check Your Real Inbox and Spam Folders
- Open the main email app for the personal email address linked to your Apple ID.
- Check your Spam, Junk, Trash, or Archive folders. Verification emails from third-party services often get filtered out accidentally there.
- Search your entire inbox for @privaterelay.appleid.com or the name of the app/website sending the code.
2. Verify Where Your Private Emails Forward To
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap iCloud.
- Tap Hide My Email.
- Scroll down to the bottom and check the Forward To section to confirm which personal email address is supposed to receive the messages
