Magic Keyboard keys not working; Return key types 'P

few keys of the magic keyboard not working.

hi there,

a few keys of my magic keyboard are not working.... w r and p. Even on pressing "return" key the letter 'p' is typed. just like this----> p

any suggestions of rectifying this issue.

Reset your Apple Magic Keyboard by turning it off and on, clean under the stuck keys with compressed air, and pair it again via Bluetooth. If the 'return' key still types 'p', your keyboard has a severe hardware short or software map error.

Quick Fixes to Try

Turn off and on: Use the power switch on the back of the keyboard to turn it off completely. Wait ten seconds, then turn it back on.
Remove and reconnect: Go to your Mac's Bluetooth settings, remove the Magic Keyboard from the list of devices, restart your computer, and pair the keyboard again.
Check for software glitches: Test the keyboard on a different computer or iPad. If the same keys fail on another device, the problem is definitely inside the keyboard hardware.
