Battery life dropped after updating iOS 26.5 (with iOS 18.7)

Hello!

On May 18, I updated 16 pro max to iOS 26.5. After that, 9 days have passed and during this time I noticed that the phone began to discharge faster, and sometimes heat up for no reason (at such moments a lot of notifications come from telegram, but without text, just huge stacks of "you have a new message"). Yesterday the phone was discharged much faster than before, if earlier I came back from Institute with 50-40%, yesterday I had 9%, although the phone was not used much. Even now I'm at home, on Wi-Fi, but the discharge is faster than before.

The first I do after every iOS update is Force Restart my phone --> Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

Next, open Settings > Battery and wait for it to populate the apps which use power, the most power hungry will appear at the top of the list. They are the apps which are likely chewing through your battery and you might want to see if there updates for them or delete them, then redownload them back to your phone.

Thank you!

I tried to forcibly restart the iPhone, recharged it, and when I started checking for application updates in the app store, the phone started to heat up, not critical, but it's also strange. It is also strange that some of the updates in the "updates" section were not displayed in the appstore, although if you find applications in the search, updates appeared.
