False "Liquid detected" warning on iPhone 17 and iPad

ok ive got a brand new iPhone 17 and an iPad and a brand new charger with a new lead. Both my iPhone 17 and my iPad are refusing to charge with the false "Liquid detected" warning. Neither the brand new iPhone or the iPad have ever been exposed to water and I work in clinically dry room. This is obviously a bug that Apple are refusing to address. I can charge my phone with a magsafe charger but with the iPad this is not an option. Frankly this Is getting ridiculous ive never in all my years of owning apple products had this problem and its only started recently since the last update. Ive done all the usual "leave it to dry" (none of my devices are wet) ive cleaned out the ports (a brand new iPhone 17 wouldn't have any dirt in it and I use a silicone plug in the port to stop any dirt getting in) and frankly this is starting to get ridiculous.

Please take your iPhone to an Apple Retail Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. Your devices contain actual physical sensors that if they come into contact with moisture or and extremely humid environment, think a hot shower with a condensing mist/fog. The sensors will change color. So, your devices contain not only electronic moisture detectors but physical sensors as well.

Did you purchase Apple Care or Apple Care+?
